Hard-elastic 1C silane adhesive with great rib stability.

Bona R848’s properties make it particularly suitable for the installation of parquet with low movement, such as engineered and mosaic parquet. It reduces tension in the sub-floor and hardens by reacting with moisture. The use of a primer is generally not necessary.

Density: 1.6 g/cm²

Application: Notched trowel

Approx. coverage 15m2 using a 3mm notched trowel

Suitable Subfloors

• Cementitious screed (CT) according to EN 13813

• Calcium sulfate screed (CA) according to EN 13813

• Floors levelled with levelling compounds (at least 2 mm thick, resistant against plasticizer migration)

• New chipboards (P4-P7) or OSB 2 – OSB 4 boards, screwed tightly

• Other dry and sound sub floors such like gypsum fibre boards

• Mastic asphalt screed (AS) according to EN 13813 and other sub floors which are affected by migration of plasticizers must get a protective layer of Bona R410 or Bona R540 • Concrete
